Deputy Manager – Process Design
Roles and responsibilities:
• Prepare engineering Documents like Design Philosophies, Process Design Basics, Process Simulations,
• Calculations for Equipment & Pressure Relieving Devices, Process Equipment data sheets, H&MB Data Sheets, Process Instrument Data Sheets, equipment lists, Pipe detailing, Line, Valve and instrument selection, Control Philosophy, Process Description, O&M Manual etc
• Generation of engineering drawings like BFD, PFD, P&ID, Component Selection Diagrams
• Perform Process Simulations / hydraulics/modeling to optimize process performance and prepare models using ASPEN HYSYS & HTRI.
• Develop pumps and line sizing by manual calculations or using softwares.
• Size Control valves, PSV, Pressure vessels, Preparation/ Verification of BOM, Separators as per relevant standards (Shell DEP, API, ASME)
• Develop Process / Functional Specifications
• Managing a team size up to 10 process design engineers.
Requirements:
• Educational qualification: BTech/MTech in Chemical Engineering
• Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience
